Here are answers to questions we hear most commonly. If you’d like further clarification, we’re easy to reach!

What age range of patients do you accept?

At PDKC, we take care of skin disorders in patients from birth to 21 years of age.

Where is your office located?

We are located inside the Country Club Bank Building at the southwest corner of Shawnee Mission Parkway and State Line Road. See the map below. Enter through the main doors and turn right.

Do you accept walk-in appointments?

We do not accept walk-in appointments but are always accepting new patients. You can schedule an appointment online or by phone at 913-228-2000.

Do I need a referral from my child’s Primary Care Provider before making an appointment?

We do not require a referral from your physician to make an appointment. However, some insurance plans require a physician referral for the visit to be covered. If you are unsure, please contact your insurance carrier’s customer service department or look on their website to see your plan’s specific requirements.

Do you have an on-site laboratory?

We do not have an on-site laboratory. Any lab orders will need to be completed at a Quest or LabCorp facility. If blood or lab work is required as part of your treatment plan, we will happily guide you through the process.

What should I bring to each appointment?

Please bring your insurance card, driver’s license, and credit card/HSA card to each appointment to ensure your records stay up to date.
